The Health and Safety Authority state that you should not spend more than 45 minutes looking at a computer, then you need a rest of 15 minutes. Likewise it could be your posture while sitting at the computer, probably 'crouched over' typing away, getting involved with what you were doing and not moving at all. As soon as you got up your Body took a rest, eyes, neck, back, arms and while you still had the headache as soon as you returned it went. Headaches do not tend to clear up immediately, but just by moving, some form of exercise, even just standing will relax all the muscles. You went back and gone. No different than 45 minutes at the PC, 15 minutes away, you might still feel tired, exhausted, but as soon as you go back to the PC you feel better.
