how to keep the windows in maximized?

Question

i have most of the windows running in the maximized option, but when i click on any links i get a normal window and i want a maximized window. it use to run everything in the maximized mode. any ideas. no dragging the window into a maximized size will not work. closing that window last, first, in the middle, won't work. there has to be some registry key involved. thanks

This used to work but no guarantees. Maximize the window by dragging the corners. Do not use the maximize icon. Now hold control while closing the window with the x icon. It should reopen full size. See if it works.

On each programe icon right click then select the maximize window option otherwise it will open in a normal window.

Open My Documents

put it at max window

now Tools Folder Options View and click Apply to all folders

now reboot

works for me
