Thats a foul chilly - no longer flu. Flu makes you sense so poor which you won't have the skill to get off the mattress and use the computing gadget. Take some chilly/flu scientific care containing paracetamol or ibuprofen and it will make you sense plenty extra desirable. Drink lots of fluids and get some relax. wish you sense extra desirable quickly.

If it is flu then with anti-bio tics about ten days and without anti bio tics ten days. If it is just a heavy cold about 48 to 72 hours
For real flu bed hot drinks keep warm and rest. If you have the real thing you must do this because it can be a killer if ignored. Last time I had the real thing I ended up hallucinating and near pneumonia. I had tried to battle through

Lemsip and an early night. drink plenty of water and take paracetamol to reduce temperature and aches and pains. I think Lemsip contains paracetamol so dont have both within 4 hours. If symptons persist after 2 days, see a doctor

If you have influenza then your questione is moot. Influenza will confine you to bed. You wont be able to go to the bathroom never mind work.
A heavy cold on the other hand requires paracetamol, vit C and hydration.
So get yourself some Lemsip and go to bed, have a jug of juice by your side and
Get well soon.

If you're in the UK you're entitled to Statutory sick pay. Other than that, if you're able to be working a computer you're unlikely to have flu - just a bad cold (Which can still be pretty bad).
