This Navy SEAL received the Medal of Honor on Oct. 11. The Ceremony is on the 22nd. Will this be on TV? I hope so, what channels? Or is it private?

Thank you and God Bless.

Give them a big kick. The reason the show criap on tv is cause people are shallow. All the troops over there are Heroes in my book. I have many friends over there and have lost a few over there. We dont fight for anyone else but our brothers and sisters next to us. And if u have to ask u wouldnt get it anyway. Semper Fi

I write military fiction and always include tributes to brave personnel like Lt. Murphy. It's people like him who protect this country and allow us to have such great lives. I sure hope it's covered on Fox News. I'd be sure to watch it. It's possible some of the other channels like CNN and C-SPAN might cover it, but no telling it will be live or taped. Personally, it deserves to go live on all the major networks.

It might be shown on C-Span as a taped delayed broadcast. You can also check on the Pentagon Channel which has a link on the web site listed as a source below.
I don't know if any of the "mainstream media" TV news operations will be covering it. But, then, you never know.

Hell, haven't even read anything about it in the newpaper. Heard a blurb about it Sunday on FOX News. it was awared posthumously for those of you who care.

However, what I did see Monday on Yahoo News was that some soldiers were being investigated for desecrating the Koran-------but nothing about Murphy.

Now how can anyone give me a thumbs down on a question about this hero and my answer?

I hope it is on television. I doubt it would be on the major networks though.
