Why would it? ha ha.
Anything you consume goes through a long process in your body, it's broken down and everything, not all of it actually turns into urine, there's no reason for your urine to be orange after drinking orange soda.

In all fairness, if it were not metabolized, I think it could happen, depending on the dye in the soda. I noticed that Chrystal Light Ruby Red Grapefruit DOES turn urine orange-red, and if you eat enough arugula in a salad everything turns a bit green.

Same reason Coke doesn't turn it brown...
Urine formation helps to maintain the balance of minerals and other substances in the body. For example, excess of calcium is normally eliminated through the urine. Urine also excretes ammonia, the build-up of which is harmful to the body, as is nitrogen. In addition, urine is the result of a mechanism that maintains the appropriate amount of water in the body.
A range of substances, including ethanol and artificial sweeteners, are also eliminated from the body through the urine.

does your urine generally take the color of the fluids you drink/like plain milk white, chocolate milk brown??
I do not experience this and am glad that at least one beverage permits you normal urine color.
There is not enuf dye to make urine orange and the body filters out the stain

Because the food-grade dyes are metabolized by the body to colorless substances.
