Do you believe it's possible for someone who has been pronounced dead, maybe dead for 5-15 minutes, to come back and tell about their experience? There are those who have told of having seen Jesus, and others who claim they went to hell. What do you think?

Nothing is impossible to God. I read the book " 90 minutes in heaven" by Piper. That is amazing.

I also have read 90 MINS IN HEAVEN, by DON PIPER. A very good book. Makes you realise whats important in life.

There are many Biblical sightings of raised from the dead.

MT 9:23-25 When Jesus entered the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd,
24 he said, "Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep." But they laughed at him.
25 After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.

MT 11:5 The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy* are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.

MK 5:35,39-41 While Jesus was still speaking, some men came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue ruler. "Your daughter is dead," they said. "Why bother the teacher any more?"
39 He went in and said to them, "Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep."
40 But they laughed at him. After he put them all out, he took the child's father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was.
41 He took her by the hand and said to her, "Talitha koum!" (which means, "Little girl, I say to you, get up!").

I can't tell you. I know there have been a many of people pronounced dead by the doctors, but then minutes later came back to life. When you die your spirit doesn't just lie there with the body - it goes to Heaven or Hell. But honestly, I have no clue if what they're saying is truth, so I continue to read the Bible and pursue Christ on my own.

Exodus 33:20 " And he said, Thou canst not see my face; for there shall no man see me and live ". John 1:18 " No man hath seen God at anytime; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him ". Timothy 6:16 " Who only hath immortality , dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting ". What they saw was Satan coming as an angel of light .

I technically died after one of my surgeries for about 5 minutes. I didn't see anything, hear anything. They just told me about it after I came around more. I still left the hospital the same day, I didn't feel any different, just thought it was a cool story to tell.

Sorry, I don't think that sounds 100% biblically acurate. You have either to be dead or living. Study the bible on that, that is where you will find the true answers, not on here!

I have heard of people being very close to death and seeing through"a tube," but I think that that is a product of fiction.

I went to a men's conference last week and there was a priest
who had been dead for 2 1.2 hours and came back. He spoke of the great white light and how it lead him to the Priesthood.

I know someone that this happened to. She was gone for about 10 minutes after a heart attack. She was in heaven but it wasn't her time to stay- her husband still needed her.

I think there is substance in these stories and they should not be dismissed to lightly, there are many more mysteries in the universe than we can even begin to fathom.
