i cant see how this ispossible given they are the masters of concealment and given the range of modern sniper rifles and the accuracy i find this theory highly unlikely. I cant see any solider shooting a kid without good reason they are human too lets not forget that, some insurgents mix in with civilans on purpose but is still find it unlikley

More information is needed...
What distance? 100-500 yards? probably not an accident.
500-1000 yards? Maybe.
Did the targets or innocents suddenly move? Could increase the chances of an accident.
Was there wind? Relatively constant or gusting? A 10 mph crosswind will cause a 7.62mm NATO bullet to drift 70" from point of aim at 1000 yards.
A trained sniper should take these factors into account and not make such a mistake, but in the end, a sniper is human and may misread or miss altogether factors that can cause unintended consequences.

I'm sure anything can happen in a fluid environment such as setting up a sniper kill. It's not like the target is standing still so the sniper can get a good shot off. Things can go wrong under the best of circumstances. Mistakes can be made, etc. I wasn't there so I can't judge whether it was an accident or not.

So your bullets stop at the target? they don't punch through and hit anything behind the target.
"I have shot rifles with a scope and have never missed by more than a few inches" says it all!!!!! now you are an expert.
Bullets go straight through people, and its highly possible for a Sniper round to hit more than one person. But I think you are having a anti-Israeli rant here.

sniper rifles are extremely high powered. Assuming the sniper was not directly aiming at a child, once the bullet passed through the person being targeted, the slug could ricochet or pass through wall board. Either or ricochet--or someone was in the flightpath of the bullet after it exited the intended target.

Accidentts happen.
Big deal you have shot rifles with scopes before and have never missed by more than a few inches. what were you shooting at targets?
But have you ever fired your weapon in combat. It is a stressful situation and with the fog of war mistakes do happen

I could think of a few scenarios - What if the child was BEHIND the intended target and the weapon shot through the target? That would be accidental.

It can happen. The target moves, someone moves into the bullets path, something startles the sniper when he is pulling the trigger.

Just like kids run out in front of trained experienced drivers, they can run into the path of a bullet.
