Driving accross California in recent months I see less Mexican and latino workers in construction sites, restaurants... (many of them being illegals as we know), I see more other types of immigrants and Anglo-Americans (from very few to few)
I hear news that raids are happening nationwide and laws are getting tough
so they start to leave on their own (attrition or self-deportation)
but there's still supposedly around 12M illegals.
So is this really what i see or just an illusion? Any data?
Are they leaving to visible levels?

There are a lot of hispanic construction workers in LA. I have no idea their immigration status.
Well, that's not true. Since two projects started in my neighborhood these three beat up 'over pick up campers' have started parking in the neighborhood overnight, never in the same exact spot twice. The thought that they may be sleeping in trucks without accountablity of records and documented presence, that close to my kids, is not a cheerful one.
(Yes, I know not all illegals are poor. Not all illegals would be a danger to my kids, either. The more transient the less they have to lose and the less traceable they are, and the more I am concerned, however.)

The Mexicans i've got everyday have been solid, beneficiant, Catholic, relatives-oriented people who could die for their little ones and do even the main menial issues to maintain afloat. they're ingenious, humble and continuously satisfied. i assume i will comprehend in case you do no longer prefer to be like that. **** perhaps you do no longer seem Mexican. yet you're saying that like they're some how unattractive. do you want to see illegals mexicans ? just go to orlando , florida...yep the booming in construction have became a magnet for them., There is a huge concentration in Deltona too. All schools are changing to have ESL program now because 50% of the students do not speak "inglish" so thight your belt 'cause your governor is blind.............

No, there aren't less of them, they are just relocating to other areas.
Why should they leave? Would you?
If you enter into a country illegally and the government rolls out the red carpet for you giving you benefits that it denies to it's citizens, you'd be a fool to leave!

illusion....but how do you know how many are illegal.i know plenty here in california and they arent going anywhere..... they are in the same spot they were10 yrs ago.
