He did not fulfill the prophesies of the messiah, and the messiah, at the same time as he comes, in basic terms isn't worshipped as a God nor hailed because the savior from sin. Messianice prophesies that Jesus did not fulfill: -- The Sanhedrin will be re-ordinary (Isaiah a million:26) -- once he's King, leaders of alternative international locations will look to him for education. (Isaiah 2:4) -- the finished international will worship the only God of Israel (Isaiah 2:17) -- he will be descended from King David (Isaiah 11:a million) via King Solomon (a million Chron. 22:8-10) -- he will be a guy of this international, an observant Jew with "worry of God" (Isaiah 11:2) -- Evil and tyranny in basic terms isn't waiting to face before his administration (Isaiah 11:4) -- expertise of God will fill the international (Isaiah 11:9) -- All Israelites will be back to their native land (Isaiah 11:12) -- death will be swallowed up continuously (Isaiah 25:8) -- there'll be no more suitable starvation or ailment, and death will end (Isaiah 25:8) -- each and every of the useless will upward push back (Isaiah 26:19) -- The Jewish human beings will adventure eternal exhilaration and gladness (Isaiah 51:11) -- The peoples of the international will turn to the Jews for non secular education (Zechariah 8:23) -- The ruined cities of Israel will be restored (Ezekiel 16:fifty 5) -- guns of warfare will be destroyed (Ezekiel 39:9) -- The Temple will be rebuilt (Ezekiel 40) -- he will take the barren land and make it ample and fruitful (Isaiah 51:3, Amos 9:13-15, Ezekiel 36:29-30, Isaiah 11:6-9).

Matthew 14:30 - Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!"

He "sank" through the ice? Surely if it were ice this passage would read differently. They wouldn't be able to sail through ice either, yet they were traveling by boat.

What is interesting about this story is that TWO people walk on water, Jesus and Peter (for a least a while).

Jesus rebukes him and tells him if he truly had faith, he would have stayed on top of the water.

So this begs the question as to why no one today can walk on water, despite the claims of almost every Christian that they have 100% faith in Jesus. Were this true, according to the bible, any Christian can walk on water like Jesus did.

But to answer your question, no, I don't believe it ever happened.
