Oh, haven't you heard, we never get to think for ourselves after we leave the military. We're implanted with a mind control chip that controls our every word. Retard. Oops, sorry, didn't mean to write that. Ignorant fool. Darn, there it went again. You can't get good chips these days. Moron. Sorry again, must really be on the fritz today. Worthless scum. I really apologize, but since I can't think for myself, someone at the Control Center must be taking over. Do have a nice day. Piece of crap.

I can't believe how ignorant some people are, meaning you! I served 4 years in the Navy and it was the best time of my life. Sure I had to whatever my superiors told me to do, it's called following orders. Its called the chain of command. Its a code that all military personel live and sometimes die by. If you've never been in the service, you don't know what its like obvioulsy. I think for myself, and so do all the other sailors I was stationed with. Some of them went a little overboard, pardon the pun, and got in trouble. They were thinking for themselves and got busted. This whole notion that military people are trained robots is ridiculous. It might appear that way to the average person. But the reason we are so loyal and obedient is because if we're not, our buddy next to us might die. So next time you ask such a disrespectful question, please join the service and do just a couple months, and then come on here ask this garbage.

I retired after serving 26 yrs in the Navy. It took me about 6 months to become "civilianized" again. I had to keep reminding myself that the "rules" of CIVLANT were much different than the ones I grew up on.

Don't expect others who were never in the military to understand you. But have faith, you will be able to shake the military feel after awhile.

As someone who just left the military in September I can certaintly speak for myself and many others like me by saying we never stopped thinking for ourselves. Just because we follow orders without questioning them out loud does not mean we have lost the capacity to do otherwise. This is probably the most ignorant question I have faced on this subject and if you are a true believer in the garbage you are posting on this site, then I myself have a question for you: How long have you been letting uneducated left-wing idiots think for you? And unless you have been in our shoes, don't you dare ever try to speak on this subject like you have firsthand knowledge.

The people in the military who do not think for themselves are the same sheep that did not think for themselves before they were in the military. The military creates good men. You are obviously not one of them.

They always think for themselves and are extremely intelligent which is more than can be said for a lot of the people on here.

well,let's see:
Honorable Discharge in 1989.
Kept up with military work ethic and honor;started company in 2000.
Currently a Corporate Executive of a successful manufacturing company(mine) with the same work ethic and view of honor I learned in the military.
Guess I'm still not thinking "right".

They never stop think for themselves. Or did you mean only thinking about themselves.

Well, they certainly are able to think (in or out of the army) that who ever asked this question must be a coward and afraid to defend his country.

How long after being raised liberal do YOU start thinking before you speak? All you've accomplished here is to make yourself look like the ignorant, hateful, jealous ingrate you are. The lack of intelligence you display in this question makes me wonder how you gathered the wits to put enough words together to form it in the first place.
