I just dislocated my shoulder, my arm feels ok enough for me to not have to wear it all the time, but it still hurts if I go more then 3 hours without my brace. Should I wear my shoulder brace to the interview or do you think it will hurt my chances of getting hired?

First, I'd ADVISE you to learn how to spell ADVICE.

Second, I'd go without it, no matter what kind of job it is, unless they're going to give you an on the spot physical test of strength.

If you are hired by the company will you still be wearing the brace when you start employment? I'd be open and honest about it. Give the person you are speaking with a call and explain that you hurt your shoulder and that you're going to be coming in wearing the brace but that it is only needed for a short time and that it will in no way impact your ability to do the job (if this is in fact the case).

If you're only going to be wearing the brace for a few more days and won't have it on day 1 of employment maybe you can try to go without it. If you can't do so without causing you great pain or harm wear it and do some explaining.

For starters, very few interviews last for three hours or more. Secondly, in some offhand type of way, the interviewers may think that you are not capable of doing the job or starting immediately if you were a brace on it.....You know what some people are like? Quick to assume! I would suggest you NOT wear the brace for this one. The best of luck in getting the job too....Sincerely. :)

If you can go three hours without the brace, I would say skip wearing it for the job interview. You will spend all your time explaining how the accident happened. If the job requires physical work, make sure you are able to do it before accepting the job.

Do not wear it, regardless of whether physical or mental work.

DO NOT WEAR IT.

First impressions count, because you don't get a chance to make a second one...Employer liabilities in this day and age are far reaching. Don't kid yourself.

Leave it at home.

it would depend on the kind of job - it might hurt your chances if its a physical job.
