i'm not quite sure what to include in this essay - any ideas?
i've got a few quotes from genesis.. but this is supposed to be a couple of pages long, and a list of "god is your creator" and "god looked at what he had made" kinda quotes doesn't really seem sufficient.. help?

I would suggest going to the back of your Bible and looking under "creation" or something similar for ideas. To me, the Bible shows God as creator by the way her takes care of his people. He is shown throughout history taking care of his creations. This shows that He is a loving God that wants to protect His people. Put in an example of something you created and how you wanted to protect it. I believe this is how God acts towards us. He created us and therefore he wants to protect us. Hope this helps. ;)

i might want to work out the place you acquire this quote, "u . s . a . of america exchange into not in accordance with God or the Bible!"? and the context surrounding it. i'm not asserting you made it up, yet varied "Obama is the Antichrist" human beings make issues up or take his statements out of context. maximum, if not all, of the founders of u . s . a . of america have been Christians and, as a result, have been heavily stimulated by making use of the Bible. the belief is greater one among ways a lot any faith or religious text fabric could have on the way the government applications and the regulations the government creates to administration the society. Governments that are religiously based finally end up oppressing quite a lot everyone that would not persist with that faith. Examples of this exist for the era of history and on the instant with communities like the Taliban. The founding fathers needed faith separated from government - this is why they positioned that thoroughly sparkling separation interior the form. American government can't be in accordance with God and the Bible because of the fact our shape demands the separation of church and state. Does that mean that they did not have faith interior the bible, God or weren't Christians? - no, it skill they knew that blending faith and government is a foul thought. reaction on your added information: A quote from an severe ideal wing e book isn't possibly supportive of your argument. No, you probably did not point out the consitution, yet seem attempting to make the component that "u . s . a . of america" exchange into based on the bible and Christianity. u . s . a . of america IS the form - this is what each and every solider and baby-kisser swears to help and take care of.

I suggest you google the "gap theory" and begin with the real age of the planet as described in Genesis, or billions of years. http://reluctant-messenger.com

I have made the earth the man and the beast that are on the ground by my great power. Jeremiah 27:5

The heavens and the firmament declare the Glory of God. Psalm 19:1

Enoch 2: 1 Observe ye everything that takes place in the heaven, how they do not change their orbits, and the luminaries which are in the heaven, how they all rise and set in order each in its season, and 2 transgress not against their appointed order. Behold ye the earth, and give heed to the things which take place upon it from first to last, how steadfast they are, how none of the things upon earth 3 change, but all the works of God appear to you. Behold the summer and the winter, how the whole earth is filled with water, and clouds and dew and rain lie upon it.

Enoch 5:1 Observe ye how the trees cover themselves with green leaves and bear fruit: wherefore give ye heed and know with regard to all His works, and recognize how He that liveth for ever hath made them so. 2 And all His works go on thus from year to year for ever, and all the tasks which they accomplish for Him, and their tasks change not, but according as God hath ordained so is it done. 3 And behold how the sea and the rivers in like manner accomplish and change not their tasks from His commandments'

not only did g-d create the heavens and the earth, but g-d created 3 seperate but equal religions which consider their "homebase" as the same place on earth. This is only the size of New Jersey, but home to millions of people. He's funny in that regard.

By his control over his creation. You can cite the miracles in Egypt, the provision for the Israelites in the wilderness, prosperity and victories of the Israelites in the old testament and oh, even in present day.

The book really only has a couple of lines about creation.

The rest of the story is about death and destruction.

I guess you could write about how the god used death and destruction to bring about the coming of Jesus and the death and destruction to come as predicted in Revelation...
