Can we say something good about the ones we do not see eye to eye with?

No smart butt answers please, if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all.

Some of the nicest people I know are non believers. I have respect for all as humans not based on what they believe or not believe, but as living breathing humans. If God gave us free will why do we get so upset if someone uses that? Lighten up and hug someone who you otherwise might not, trust me the world will not end at that moment, you may find you are embracing a new found friendship.

Everyone have a great day and remember life is too short to live in fear and hate....

Though i strongly disagree with the Christian Faith, I feel that most Christians are well-intending loving people. I am very flattered when they want to take the time to pray for me. I appreciate the thought.

Every person on this planet has a soul. Even though most choose to be ignorant of their spirit and of the love. Sure, you see an ocasional a hole on the street or a girl thats a total b*tch. But dont let that tell you how they really are. With a lack of spirituality and love that is what turns people into into the worst kind. I dont judge anymore like I used to. We are all the same but its the actions we choose and feel that make us who we are.

Kudos to you!
I remember someone saying the same thing a different way about homosexual people, and his thoughts were: they are just afraid because they actually like the person. So to hate an entire group of people, because they don't believe as you do, is the same as a racist, or a sexist. We don't have to be the same to get along with each other.

Christian Fundamentalists seem to have a real strong sense of community. That's good.
Religions is general, often helps create a person's identity.
That's why it is hard when people say that there is no god. They feel like they are being attacked, and that non-believers are against them.

Or does that sound like I'm trying too hard, I don't know.

The Jehovah's Witnesses are utterly sincere, lovely people and as keen as mustard to please God. That's why it's worth persevering with them, because once they get Jesus Christ into his right place, all the other 'pieces' fall into place and they're sorted! All their fear of maybe not surviving Armageddon vanishes, and that is a joy to behold.
Thanks for asking this Q. Blessings to everyone!

Certainly: many of the people I value in my life believe in some form of God. In fact, one of the most intelligent people I know believes in Christianity, and we have wonderful debates.

Haha, smart butt ... that is a little much, but okay. Anyway, I have no problem with anyone unless their beliefs hurt other people .. as in "physically" ... you know murder, terrorism, etc? So yeah, otherwise it think it's all very interesting!

The real truth is that those who purposely choose to be ignorant and venomous are hurting deep down and this is the only way they know to unburden themselves.
