can anyone tell me how I delete temporary folders from a microsoft wndows xp laptop computer?

Hi, I am useless with a computer, but I do know that temporary folders slow down your computer. Can anyone tell me how I delete them from a windows xp laptop computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Sue

click on start then control panel then internet options. In the general window which should be the one that opens first, click on delete temporary files. While you are in there delete your cookies too
