I have a few Families that imagrated to the USA from Germany ...trying to find someone who may know about them..Hohwerter,Phaudler,Frey,Krumsiek,Guettinger, Huttenmeyer,Kopp....these are just a few around the years of 1600-1800 or any living relatives leaving now...

In the 1600s and early 1700s, most of the German immigrants headed for Pennsylvania. You might want to google up the "Pennsylvania German Society" and see what they have to offer. I know OF this organization, but don't know really anything about them. But google is free so might be worth a shot.

there is a lady who is a genealogist and her family came from Germany as well. She can be reached at CAGENI@PACBELL.NET
If she can't help you, I'm sure she can refer you to someone who can. But a lot of them charge for info, so be careful who you deal with.
