hello. i just moved to this new town and have been here for a little over 3 months. i met a girl about a week ago that is the most beautiul girl ive ever seen. she is quiet and is really nice (i think). well last weekend i was at a haunted corn maze and i just happened to scare a group of girls that she was with. i didnt recognize her right off but she looked at me, smiled, and asked how i was. i returned the favor and left. well i talked to her alittle on monday but never really got anywhere. im a nervous wreck about trying to talk to this girl. i dont know what it is bout her but everytime i try to talk to her, i just get really nervous. what can i do to get to know this girl? also i need as many pointers as i can get. thank you :).

Approach her in a way you would like to be approached by someone crazy about you. Girls are very similar in feelings as you are, they also feel scared to make that first contact, so chances are she is just to scared to make that first move. I would ask her if she wants to go to the public library over the weekend, don't leave it there, give her your number and ask if she can call you to set up a time to meet there to work on homework together. You can find a quiet place to sit in the isles or on the floor and quietly talk and later say, wanna go out side and talk? Ask her lots of things about her. It's not uncommon for young people to both share the same feelings and at the same time both are terrified to talk. Casually tap her on the shoulder in the hall as if she was your BEST friend and say Soooooooooooooooooooo how was your weekend? Smile when you say it, if she said I didn't do anything, don't let her off the hook that easy, say..... Oh come on don't tell me you sat in your closet all weekend staring at the WALLS! You need to use a sense of humor for teenagers to loosen them up and make them feel relaxed to talk to you. They don't know your personality yet, so make her feel comfortable, say well my wall wasn't very interesting EITHER maybe if we hung out together more often we wouldn't have such a Boring weekend!!! Smile and always BE FUN! Laugh when she tries to be funny, grab her shoulders while shes walking in the hall, gently, and say sooooooo Tamara, what are we gonna do with your weekend? Shall we go to the Skate rink? , Movies? Game room? or lunch at the park? I'll pack the lunch if you tell me what you like! BE YOURSELF and BE FUN!!!! Treat her as if she was your friend, relax and act as if there is NO WAY she would say NO! If you have confidence in yourself you will NEVER have a hard time, always remember the minute you change for someone else your no longer YOU! BE YOURSELF!!!!! You sound like a wonderful guy. Talk about ANYTHING who cares how dumb it sounds, if she likes you she WON'T care. Talk about the state you moved from, has she ever lived anywhere else? Anything about pets, friends, movies she liked, books shes read, hobbies she has, X box games she likes, does she write poetry, it's ENDLESS!

Young people waste so much anxiety over
things like this.
She sounds like a nice kid.
Just talk to her. Maybe she'll like you, (great),
maybe you'll be 'just friends`, (not too bad, ..
and you'll be done with all the drama).
Loosen up! - Life is full of Hellos and Goodbyes
and if you spend all that emotion on every one
of them, you'll burn out.
