Brian and rac: So one of you says there is doctrine on this, and the other says no. One says equally powerful and the other says not. What is the official Mormon position?

Didn't you just ask that?

And we do not have doctrine one who is more "powerful" than the other.

But in my opinion, I believe that once we achieve "godhood" or whatever you want to call it, our power is limitless therefore they're all powerful, an no gods power can overpower another.

And BTW, Mormons don't believe all men will become like god, only those who live righteously, such as the prophets and other great men.

This is the same question that was posed by another asker just minutes ago.
Yes, in the eternal plan of progression, the child becomes like the Father but the Father will always be above them. So even as we become like our eternal parents, they will still be our Gods and be above us.
Likewise, as our children become like us, in the eternal scope of things, we will still be above them.
