"Teacher, 21 which commandment in the law is the greatest?"
"You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." Mat 22:27
Isn't that amazing? It isn't about not to steal this, not to do that or do this, but simply to love Him, with all of your heart.

The difference is Easter bunny = imaginary whereas Jesus/God = very real!

Brainwashing? So the teaching to love for yourself, your neighbors, even your enemies, self sacrifice for others, respect to authority is negative? lol.

Pickel, I used to hold that view too, before I actually seek out and know what God said instead of listening to others. Historical evidence proves that Jesus did exist and that he did performed miracles. He was crucified and the tomb was empty after ward. I recommend you seek Him out instead of listening to others. Read the Bible, talk to pastors, read some apologetic books is helpful too.

If this commandment is obeyed, everything else will fall into place.

Funny, you made your question sound just like what Moses came down the mountain with a commandment. It's not too amazing given Jesus initial ties to Judaism and it's teachings. FYI you should love humanity despite its flaws and not some unproven being labled God. PEACE!

Jesus/ God does not exist. The Bible and Christianity are both hypocritical. Open your eyes
Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man -- living in the sky -- who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!
But He loves you.
I forget who said that, but its true

Yes, when you love God every good fruit follows. The "seared conscienced" people won't see it unless God's light will shine upon them.

yup, and the second is like it - love your neighbor as yourself
All the rest can be summed up in these two.
If you do them both 100% you won't have to worry about the rest.
Cause you'll be keeping them all too.

Which, when you DO actually love God this way, you would OBVIOUSLY not do those other things he commands, right? like fornication, adultery, homosexuality...right?
Thought so.
Just something for all the hypocrites to pretend to believe in, yes, the same ones who will thumbs down me.

So....??
The man Jesus wanted lots of love and adoration and there were many who listened.
Sounds like a personal problem to me.

And if you really do love him with all your heart, then there is a strong likelihood that you won't commit sin.
