I love the GREAT proofs people have for saying that it is false.

What's fake is the liberal pseudo intellectuals who "preach" instead of teach properly at university. And ignorant kids just soak it in as truth where their professors wouldn't know a good textual criticism book if it bit em in the ****.

What's so funny is, the manuscripts of the Bible is the most established authenticated work of antiquity in the history of the world.
If you don't believe the historical validation of the Bible, you better not be thinkin that book you're learning about Greek or Roman history is true, since the Bible has 20,000 more manuscripts than the closest 2nd which is Juveniles work of Rome.

Also the Biblical manuscripts are only separated by 20 years from their originals verse the closest 2nd which is over 300 years.

Corrupted over time? Please, with the "parroted" arguments without any facts.
Out of the 20,000 manuscripts, there are NO contextual deviations. There is only a .5% deviation and that is only because there wasn't a "crossing of a T or dotting of the I", these count as deviants.

What do you call fake or real? I do know that it was compiled and edited 200 years after Christ's Death. It consists of "Stories" that were meant to tell about the life of Christ and how the Church believed Christ wanted people to act. As for being the written word of God, I tend to think that it is MAN'S INTERPRETATION of God's word. After all, the dead sea scrolls were suppose to be proof of the first set of the writing of the Bible, and the literal translation is so far off from what is now written in many parts of the bible it leaves one to wonder.

It is a real book that was written about real events thousands of years ago. However, it is a little like playing the game "telephone". Because the stuff written in the bible was passed along by word of mouth by MAN (who, by definition, is imperfect) you really can't take anything written in the bible too seriously. Plus, if you think about it, back then people thought the earth was flat and that thunder and lightning are divine spirits. We now know better.. That is why I don't understand why people believe everything that was said in the bible. Maybe, for lack of knowledge, they took things to be "miracles" when, in reality, it was just the work of science.

Is the bible real or just a fake what. The Bible is the word of God given to us as a lesson and moral guide book for all to read and except or reject.

As a Muslim the origional Gospel is real and some things in the Bible are real, but the bible has been changed so many times and has so many errors so sometimes it makes it hard to know what is real and what is not correct!

It's a real book, no question about that.
I've got one right here.

But the fact that it's a real book has nothing to do with determining whether what's written in it is true or not. The overwhelming evidence shows that it's a book of fables and made-up stories that have no connection to reality, mixed in with some things that are historically accurate. Which makes it an interesting artifact, but not anything to judge reality by :)

Peace.

A very little portion of it is real and majority of it is a fake, as it has suffered a lot of human interpolation as God did not guarantee to safeguard it as opposed to the Quran which is the final testament of the same God who revealed Bible. God has taken the responsibility of protecting the Quran from any corruption or human interpolation as God says in the Quran. "Verily we sent down the admonition, and We indeed will protect it." The noble Quran has remained intact since 1400 years and will continue to remain intact till the day of Judgement. It was revealed in Arabic and the language itself in which the Quran was revealed is a live language where as the languages in which the Bible and other religious scriptures were revealed are now dead languages.

one of the most historically valid and verified documents we have today. And seeing as how it was written by over 40 authors over a period of about 2 - 3 thousand years it's pretty impressive how consistent it remains.
