Since you believe he had one, are they equal in power or is his father stronger? Why don't you worship his father instead of him? If God decided to destroy his father, could he? If not, is he omnipotent?

Brian: But God's father used God as a tool to create you, just as God used your mother an dfather as a tool to create you. Why not worship God's father? Why not worship the top level god since he created the whole universe? Without him you wouldn't be here.

I'm an atheist by the way.

Good questions that lead to the only logical conclusion of there only being one God. He is ETERNAL, there is none before Him or besides Him.

You forgot one other good one. If He came from a planet "Kolob", how is it that He created the universe and everything that is contained in it? He created the planet from which He originated from? Silly little myth.

We do not worship God's father, because God's father did not create us.

We believe there are other gods out there, just read the bible. It mentions them all the time.

Genesis 1:26, Genesis 3:22, Genesis 11:7, 1 Corinthians 8:5-6, 1 John 5:8 are just a few examples.

God would not destroy His father. We, as Christians(and I'm sure many others as well) love our creator, so why would we even dream of destroying them? But even if He did...how can you destroy something that is already dead?

We worship God, our Heavenly Father. We are not told to worship anyone else, so we don't.

Actually, we don't BELIEVE that our Heavenly Father has a Father, not in the way that we must believe that Jesus is the Christ.

Umm.. yet another question baiting us, yet whats up.. i will answer. that is what Apostle Boyd ok. Packer has to assert in this undertaking. he's in a higher position contained in the church then i'm, so he might want to likely comprehend more suitable intensive then i might want to: the daddy is the only actual God. This element is convinced: no individual will ever ascend above Him; no individual will ever replace Him. Nor will something ever replace the courting that we, His literal offspring, have with Him. he's Eloheim, the daddy. he's God. Of Him there is in basic terms one. We revere our Father and our God; we worship Him. there is in basic terms one Christ, one Redeemer. We settle for the divinity of the in basic terms Begotten Son of God contained in the flesh. We settle for the promise that we would grow to be joint heirs with Him. (Boyd ok. Packer, "The trend of Our Parentage," Ensign, Nov. 1984, p. sixty 9.) the concept of being joint heirs with Christ isn't a sparkling one (John 17:20-23). This become Christ asserting His intercessory prayer. If Christ thinks we may be able to grow to be joint heirs with Him, then why couldn't we grow to be like that? Paul suggested that Christians can grow to be "joint heirs with Christ" and be glorified with Him (Romans 8:14-18).Peter suggested that via Christ, we may be able to "placed on the divine nature" and receive large and helpful aspects (2 Peter a million:3-4). those who save on with Christ can grow to be "like Him" (a million John 3:2), can "inherit all issues" (Rev. 21:7), and could be kings and clergymen before God (Rev. a million:6), sitting with Christ in His throne (Rev. 3:21). do you opt for more suitable scriptures to back that up, or is that sufficient?
