....for example; rock climbing - if someone lost their grip which caused the others, who were attached, to fall and dangle by the rope beyond reaching distance to the wall of the cliff. the weight of all the climbers put extreme tension on the rope and could possibly snap at any second if they tried to swing back toward the wall. the person on the bottom of the rope would have to cut himself free and fall to his death in order to dramatically increase the chances of his friends' survival... Would God send him to hell for doing such a noble act?

No. It's only suicide if you do it for selfish reasons, like out of dispair or personal disregard.

I have to agree with the first answer. greater love has no man than this that he lay down his life for his friends. if your a Christian God wouldn't send you to hell. its not a sin to take your life in order that others may live. thats what Jesus did, he gave his life so many could live

I personally don't believe in "Hell fire and Damnation." Nor do I believe that Goddess/God would punish someone who is in so much pain as to take her/his own life, especially when Jesus asked "what sin is greater than another" which implies that sin is sin, and Goddess/God does not apply degrees of it!!!

in case you dived to push somebody off the practice tracks, God is the perfect and in basic terms decide for that. we are going to the two say "you are going to Heaven or Hell for killing your self", yet God is acquainted with all issues, out of your actual coronary heart, the entire existence, and each purpose in the back of all which you have have been given ever accomplished. He is acquainted with the sum of all of it, while we in basic terms concentration a single existence-ending adventure. he will decide to that end by skill of His omniscience approximately the place suicide and all its diverse varieties will land you.

Contrary to what many believe, suicide doesn't doom you to hell. The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy. I serve an understanding and compassionate God. He would never punish anyone for doing their best to help someone.

Considering Jesus died for us I know it wouldn't be a sin. Also in the Bible it says: "Greater love has no man than this that he lay down his life for a friend."

You do know in the christian religion the only two unforgivible sins are renouncing the father or the son in front of man. It's a shame how many zealots don't know their own religion.
