No. My ex-husband freaked when we got married and he found out that I only pooped every 2-3 days. He made me go to the dr and she told me I was perfectly fine and that everyone is different.

Normal range is once every 3 days to multiple times a day. You might want to get a scan from a doc to double check and make sure you're really okay on the inside and not stretched out. It's not an emergency. Just make sure an appointment is scheduled. Good luck!

OK, the answers that you have gotten range from yes to no to eat more fiber to it's not healthy.
I would go with the people that actually quote their doctor, like the one that said she went to her doctor and told her everyone is different. I myself went through the same experience when I told my mom I usually pooped every 2-3 days. She made me go to the doctor and voila! She said everyone is different. She did make me keep a food diary and I eat enough fiber, (although she also found I eat a lot of cheese) but for the most part I'm healthy and everyone poops different amounts.

Yes, something is wrong with you. It could be many things your diet the lack of a certain enzyme. First try eating an active culture for 2 weeks like activia yogurt and see if that straightens you out and if not go to a doctor.

If this has been going on for a long time then it may be your normal bodies functioning. Many things govern your bowel movements (Food intake quantity, your weight, your physical activity, your metabolism, etc...) If this just recently started then you may have a problem ranging from something small like constipation, to something more serious like Colon or rectal type cancer. I would recommend seeing your doctor for either case as it's the best way to know for sure. It's also always better to be safe then sorry. GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE IT"S NOTHING SERIOUS!!!!!

If you're not straining a whole lot to push out the poo then you are probably OK. Everyone differs on what a "normal" GI cycle is. Some people poo 4 x a day, some poo every 3 days. Everyone's different.

Nope. Everyone's "normal" is different. As long as you are not having a difficult time going. If you experience what I call "rabbit pellets", you may want to take a stool softener. If you do not have any back pain or other issues with stomach. Poop as often or rarely as you like.

Yes. You should talk to your doctor about it. Don't be embarrased, just remember..whenever you have to tell your doctor something like that, there has always been a patient with something more embarrasing than what you have to tell them!
