From what I gather your faith has its roots in a book called the bible. This book was written by males inspired by a God. This God comes from the Hebrew faith with a twist, the Son of a God written about in your book. Hebrews don't believe this version, they have their own version taken from Persia, Egypt and Greek religions. The bible is then the reason for many other Christian faiths with Jesus the Son of the Hebrew God as a common dinominator to all other Christian religions who argue about the meaning of the written words in this book. ( and they do argue) People have been killed because of this book. The words in this book are taken literally as fact by some Christians, while other Christians just except the premiss of the Son of the Hebrew God, but dismiss the book being factual in its written word. I don't want to comment on other books, gospels, religions, GODs, and dogma through-out time. The bottom line is the roots of your faith comes from 2000 yr males from the Middle East?

Yes, but you left out the key thing. The writers of the Bible were inspired by the Holy Spirit to record the scriptures and it is God Who preserved the written Word all this time. That can't be said of any other book. His Word, whether written or spoken, is alive and was in the beginning with God according to John 1. The Word and Christ are synonymous. Man, though he has tried, cannot destroy The Word/Christ.

The birth of Jesus devided Jewish people. We believe in the Bible and Jesus. What we don't agree on is His actual position.
Some say he was a just a great man. Some say (as do I ) He was and still IS the son of GOD.
common denominator being GOD.
Through blood sweat and tears you fight for what you believe in. Through blood sweat and tears so will God believers. Not necessarily a good thing. But it's a fact.
Also through blood sweat and tears Christians and God believers refuse to denounce HIM as their King.
God does exist Jesus IS alive. You know that there must be SOMETHING with this whole "God thing" if so many people are making such a fuss over it (including yourself)

Christianity is the belief, trust, and devotion to Jesus Christ. Our souls are lost until we forsake our sinful ways and follow God's will in our lives. Most people see this as difficult or boring, but it has been just the opposite for me. If you want more proof that he walked the Earth, most encycopedias have information regarding his Earthly exploits. If you are truly interested in understanding our faith read the gospel of John and the book of Acts. Those two can give you a basic understanding of the love Jesus shares with us, and the mission the apostles started.

All what you have gathered is a load of fragmented, disjointed, misconstrued and disarranged stories. If you want to know the truth with all your heart, become a Christian and look for any church that teaches the bible in its real context. You could know the church by what they teach - salvation, holiness, love for God and complete faith in God.

no one can help you understand because you did not ask your question to understand. you asked your question to feel better about yourself. you finally showed them. you finally got it off your chest. good for you. do you feel better? you ask a question with a false pretense, so it doesn't matter what the answer will be you will not accept it as legitimate, so who cares? of course there are going to be people that believe different. there has to be wheat if there are tares. there has to be non-believers if there are believers. there has to be cold if there is hot. do you get it? "in the absence of that which is not, that which is is not" (neale donald walshe).

Christianity doesn't have it's roots in the Bible. The Bible was written AFTER the Church was established.
Christianity has it's roots in Judaism.
