what smells do cats hate, and will jump back and avoid??

My cat hates onions and garlic. She also hates nail polish remover and citrus.

They hate pepper at least my cat does but my bengal cat loves the smell of spices like it is catnip or something oh and they hate hot peppers and onions.

well cats dont like the smell of dogs just like dogs dont like the smell of cats. i know this has nothing to do with the question but, if your cats being good, put a piece of ice on the ground when its around and it will start liking the ice off of the ground. i guess cats dont like hot or warm things

citronella, lemons, oranges, limes, etc. Some cats love the smell of mint and others hate it. Also anything spicy like garlic and tobasco sauce.

Ben Gay, lol. But that makes my cat's attack me. They have cat repelants at pet stores. Make sure it does not have ammonia in it. This is an ingredient in cat urine & they will mark thier territory.

Cat don't like citrus. There are lots of sprays you can get at your local pet supplies store that are "cat repellants".

my cat hates cigarette smoke, if there is an ashtray by she will act like its he poop and try to cover it up....its kinda fun, but she has knocked my ashtrays over, which makes it not so funny anymore
