I have noticed that immigration is a touchy subject. Do most Americans not think about how much deportation will cost us? Not only immediate cost but also long term costs. The many businesses that will go under because of lack of work force? The small businesses of America is who pays most of the taxes to cover all of us. Really the individual 15% really doesnt add to much of the federal taxes. In cali state taxes are a joke I make six figures and state taxes i pay about 3% that will not cover roads, social programs, schools, etc.. Other taxes do not cover all the benefits. The small businesses will be hurt and most out of business. Where will all the billions come from to start a deportation process? Some sites claim that their are more than 30 million illegals here. at $100 a peice to deport them this will cost us 3 billion dollars. where will this come from?

Ever since the white black race issue.....man woman issues.....I went person to person. I judged INDIVIDUAL people on what they said or did. I went BEYOND that. But when illegal came up....then made it a race issue......then they said Latinos and even the Mexican government saying where there is a Mexican there is Mexico.....it's not ME who made it a blanket statement.

I'm...break the law....get out. I don't care where you are from or what color you are.....GET OUT. Yes.....BLANKET statement.....all illegals get out.

I know full well the cost and the long term cost....like it or not.....my country and my freedom are not for sale or barter. Some things are PRICELESS. Quality over quantity. There are some things that have no price tag. Cheap isn't the only way. It's not just about the money.

Right now....if safety were guarenteed...and the government out of it.....we would have volunteers helping the illegals over the border and to there homeland. It's THAT bad and THAT important to alot of Americans. Trust me....if there were a local illegal family that wanted the expense of a moving van to go back to Mexico.....and they would STAY there.....and it was the only thing stopping them from doing so.....I'd pay out of my own pocket. Wouldn't cost you or the government a dime. There's people who would pay for flights across the seas......trust me.....have a news segmant where illegals want to go home and all they need is money to leave......they'd be home by this weekend.

Once again this is about the right of the American citizens to make, fund and enforce our immigration laws for our wants and needs, not the illegals no matter how many, where they came from, how hard working or well intended. Few in the USA want mass deportations, but as we have noticed, once the illegals find no will hire them or social services are being deny they will go home on their own, and hopefully many will decide not to come.

Three billion dollars sounds like a lot of money to a normal, or even a very rich, person, but, to a government that can blow a trillion on a useless foreign war, it's only a modest expenditure.

There is no real lack of workers in the US. What drives businesses to hire illegals is the high wages that legal workers demand, and the legal protections that legal workers enjoy. Illegals can be exploited - underpayed, overworked, placed in dangerous conditions, etc - with less risk of any consequences. Businesses - even if they're 'small' - that can only survive by brutally exploiting thier employees maybe don't /deserve/ to stay afloat.

It's costing federal, state, and local governments way way way way more than $3 billion dollars a year to support illegal aliens in this country now. It comes from the same place it's coming from now!!!

$100 per illegal alien would be small potatoes Ghostrider!!

What businesses are you talking about that would "go under"
if it weren't for illegal aliens?? Here's a hint: If they are hiring illegal aliens, they are committing a CRIME!! They should be imprisoned, fined, and/or put out of business!!! Most "pros" on here try to claim the only jobs they take are the ones Americans "won't do"...i.e. working in the fields picking strawberries for $2 per hour.

P.S.

Los Angeles County ALONE spends way more than that...read up on it!!

If you don't believe me or need the link let me know!! I'll find it again!!

Illegal aliens are an invading force from Mexico. You have to think of it like an invasion. What else can you call 20 to 38 million illegal aliens, most of them from Mexico, but an invading horde. Mexicans believe that the southwestern US states belong to them, so they are colonizing them. Mexicans call it La Reconquista.

It is relatively cheap to get rid of the illegals by following a policy called Attrition through enforcement.
http://www.numbersusa.com/interests/attrition.html

President Bush and the rest of the open borders crowd constantly tell the American people that there are only two solutions to our nation's illegal alien crisis – give illegal aliens amnesty or round them up and deport them. This is a diversionary tactic to draw public attention away from the most effective and efficient solution – Attrition Through Enforcement.

Stop them from working, stop the benefits that the states give to the illegals, stop giving citizenship to the children of illegal aliens, end sanctuary policies, and the illegals will self-deport. The illegal aliens can quickly be replaced in the work force by unemployed Americans, prison labor, and legal immigrants.

Whereas more than half of the illegal who live in America now want to return to their countries of origin after save some money, I believe that the program of President Bush, to issue temporary permits were the most correct and wise to do.
Moreover, it was the only way the government know who they are, where they live, what they do so.

Let's see. The savings in entitlements illegals won't get would pay for it.

Or we could get out of Iraq and pay for deportation in about
1 week since the war is now costing us 12 Billion a month.

I'm sure there are many more ways to pay for it that people will come up with.

The impact on businesses will be a short term blip on the economic screen. The impact on our social services will be long term and positive.

Deportation is FAR cheaper than the billions of dollars that illegals cost the US taxpayer every year. But even if you were correct, you'd still be WRONG...it's much cheaper to let ALL criminals loose than to keep them incarcerated. Some things just HAVE to be done for the public good and getting rid of illegal aliens is one of those things.

People make blanket statements because it's IMPOSSIBLE to make 20 million individual statements. Instead, you make a statement that represents an undeniable trend or majority.

What makes it worse is that not one person i can think of is really legal. America is unfortunate since it is built on the bones of Native Americans. What right really has it got to be in existence. Did the European nations have a right to take over in the America's at all. So as i see it All americans except native americans are illegals. Sure don't think the Native population gave them a visa to work or have a holiday.

Because the blanket statements are usually correct when speaking of mllions of illegals who are invading our nation daily. Tell us the difference in any case when they are illegal, working under the table, taking aid for their anchor babies, their gangs, and hate groups, their false documentation or ID theft, their protests and demands when they have no rights? I say 3 billion dollars is a cheap price considering that they are destroying our economy, schools, hospitals, fair labor wages, as well as overpopulating our nation. Adios to the Latinos and all the other illegal aliens on our soil. No thank you, we can use convict labor at an even cheaper rate as we are already paying for convicts as it is.
