i half to say something on the case of the gena six why is it that it dousnt surprise me that in a white neiberhood blacks would be overly punished i mena they had a freakin white tree and on top of that they hung nooses on it i think that white kid is lucky he just got a beat down i f there was ever a right time to have a knife fight that would of bean it id like to see how those kids would do if they went to south clinton its a school in minniapolis hard core and almost all black the techers wouldnt of even yelled at them for the beat down there what do you think

i mean there punishment was way over bord the onesin prison should of bean the kids hanging racist threats on the trees

1 it is called defasing school property
2 it is threatening and it was obviusly ment so being there where 13 nooses for 13 black kids that is a threat illegal
3 it is illegel to clame racial ownership of any property even the teachers called it the white tree illegel p.s it wasnt white in coler

If I read your question and statements correctly it appears to me that you believe that it is justified to lynch someone based on what they said or otherwise expressed without resorting to violence.

Hanging a noose from a tree is in extremely bad taste and the intent was probably to intimidate or show hatred, however it was not an act of physical violence against anyone.

There is no justification for what the Jena 6 did. They attacked their victim with the intent of killing him. The appropriate crime for them to face is attempted murder.

Civilized people fight words with words. Savages (regardless of color) fight words with violence.

My discussion above also relates to the reverse situation where 5 or 6 white people tortured a black woman (except the specific details of the noose). They are also savages and should face justice in the same way.

The actions of the people that hung the nooses from the "white" tree are obviously illegal It has not been established if the victim of the crime was or was not associated with that criminal activity. It is inappropriate and illegal for six people to organize a lynch mob in retaliation for the crimes of others.

What would your opinion be if it was six white guys trying to kill one black guy? Would you also say then that the kid is lucky that is all he got? The white kid had nothing to do with then nooses. The black kids targeted the white kid based on his color. The black kids should be charged, with a hate crime if anything because that is what it was. Also the "real" culprits of the noose hangings should have been charged with a hate crime.

Next time, get your facts straight. Oh, FYI--there is never a right time to have a knife. That shows how teens are thinking, and why violent crimes occur like they do. A lot of teens these days are really nothing but a bunch of pu**ies--and I've only been out of high school for 10 years so I'm not very old. Do America a favor--take advantage of the education you are receiving (I'm not trying to put you down, just hang on to what you know is the right way).

You need to research the situation better. The kid who got almost killed had nothing whatever to do with the nooses, and the blacks who did the beating just used the meedia coverage as an excuse to continue their existing criminal behavior.
