is ps3 worth buying?

Question

so im thinking about the ps3...i live in the uk and a few days ago the reduced the price for it...so now its £350 for a ps3 with 2 games...so i was just thinking if u guys can help me out? I already have a 360 but i dont really like it...im not a microsoft fan...i've been playing things from sony for a lot of time...anyway thanks if u r gonna answer :)

I'd say yes (though i'm probably a Sony fan-boy (even though i do own Gamecube, DS, etc)).
I've not used a 360 much so I couldn't tell you how different it is, but i've always prefered the PS controller (especially for Pro Evo.).
And despite Sony losing some exclusives, it still has plenty left as well as the classics it develops in-house (Gran turismo, God of war, Ico)
I think it also has a broader spectrum of games, whereas the 360 seems to concentrate more on the FPS.

Shop around to. Some are adding to the bundle e.g. I had an e-mail from HMV that says you get a blu-ray too..

PS3 is a good buy. If you have a HDTV LCD equal to 1080p you can watch BluRay DVD movies and get the best picture available. Don't forget your HDMI cable. The picture is only as good as the least component. If you were to buy a BluRay by itself it would cost you $488.00 0r approx. 244 pounds.

Also they have a great many games to choose from and are able to play legacy system games. The ability to play online and download makes this an awesome package.

it is chap ow and a good investment in the ling run. if you were to buy an Xbox 360 with all the attachments and other things the PS3 has then that would cost you $700 I say get it. Oh........... and the games you should get is RESISTANCE: FALL OF MAN & WARHAWK
