What is next for the Catholics, are they going to claim they made the earth?
Well, they already said they see nothing wrong with the Theory of Evolution.
Basically they said they see nothing wrong with someone calling God a liar.
How can people be a part of this false religon?

Sorry, I am trusting in my faith in Jesus Christ alone, nothing more.
I don't trust in Priest, or buildings, or popes or sacraments or works.
Christ alone....

Most Christians do not take the stories of creation in the Bible literally. Catholics believe the book of Genesis tells religious truth and not necessarily historical fact.
One of the religious truths is that God created everything and declared all was good.
Catholics can believe in the theories of the big bang or evolution or both or neither.
On August 12, 1950 Pope Pius XII said in his encyclical Humani generis:
The Teaching Authority of the Church does not forbid that, in conformity with the present state of human sciences and sacred theology, research and discussions, on the part of men experienced in both fields, take place with regard to the doctrine of evolution, in as far as it inquires into the origin of the human body as coming from pre-existent and living matter - for the Catholic faith obliges us to hold that souls are immediately created by God.
Here is the complete encyclical: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/pius_xii/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-xii_enc_12081950_humani-generis_en.html
The Church supports science in the discovery of God's creation. At this time, the theories of the big bang and evolution are the most logical scientific explanations. However tomorrow someone may come up with better ideas.
As long as we believe that God started the whole thing, both the Bible and modern science can live in harmony.
With love in Christ.

Hi Brian,
You've got multiple questions and some of them are inflammatory in the way that they are worded. I don't have a flavor for your historical experience with Catholicism, but it seems negative based on your claim that it is a "false religion".
I do not mean to be inflammatory or to impune your beliefs with this answer, I just want to answer some of your questions to the best of my abilities as a Catholic Christian.
"Did the Catholic Church create the world?" No. The Roman Catholic Church is the original church established by Jesus Christ and His apostles.
"What is next for the Catholics, are they going to claim they made the earth?" No. I assume this is meant to be sarcasm, but I am just answering the questions.
"Basically they said they see nothing wrong with someone calling God a liar." You should be careful with your language, this is highly inflammatory. Evolution and Creationism are not mutually exclusive beliefs.
"How can people be a part of this false religion?" I am at a loss to follow your line of reasoning. There is nothing you have stated above that supports Catholicism as a "false religion".
Faith is important. But for Catholics, tradition and the eucharistic celebration are also very important parts of worship. Please do not impune a person's religion just because they worship differently than you. All who follow Jesus are brothers and sisters.
Ecumenically yours,
Docmase

No, Catholics believe that God created the world, same as you do.
The concept of micro-evolution is accepted in the Catholic Church -- small adjustments evolving over a long period of time within a species. Macro-evolution, however, is not proven. If it's a theory, then fine, teach it as a theory. The Catholic Church does not say it is a fact!
Catholics do not like God to be called a liar. That's why we defend the when you say Catholics aren't Christians, because Jesus established the Catholic Church. You call Him a liar when you say Catholicism is a "false religion."

What is next for the Catholics is they will be standing at the right hand of Jesus and he will be asking them to help him judge people like you, just as the Queen of the South will stand in judgment against some we will stand in judgment against you and perhaps you will make it or maybe you wont. To say otherwise would be to speak untruthfully.
So true Sparki
