Its very normal for cats to do this. One reason they do this is because they dont like a certian smell or scent of something that may be on your blanket. Cats usually do this if they feel thretened by what ever smell is on the blankets. So they feel the need to mark their territory. My cat does this to my clothes and blankets after I have rescued a farrel cat. He feels thretened by his smell. You may want to ask your vet on how to stop this problem, because every one has their own method. But the vet deals with questions like this every day and should be able to help. Especally if your cat is not feeling thretened by another animal or smell. Good luck!

You're going to have to re-train her.

First of all, just get rid of those blankets. You may even have to go so far as to flip your mattress. You have to make sure your bed doesn't smell like a litterbox, and since their sense of smell is better than yours, don't take any chances.

Second, you're going to have to exclude her from the bedroom completely for a while, possibly confining her to the room where the litter box is located. How long this will take depends on how long it takes her to re-discover the litter box.

I have a cat that decided to pee in her own cat bed. We replaced it, but she did it again. She no longer has a cat bed.

Is your cat declawed? I know declawing causes them to stop using the litter box as well as many other problems.

If your blanket is larger than your bed and lays on the floor, she pee on it... i dont know why they do that..they do. try to keep it off the floor. if its on the bed, then its a behavior problem. make sure you make sure she knows its bad and throw her into her litter box. If she does it right infront of you or other people, then maybe she has an Incontinence problem. if so she needs to see the vet.
