Some Sherwin Williams colors that would look good with lime, white & black:
glad yellow
ice plant (dark pink)
fame orange
If I were you, I would start by painting your walls "glad yellow," and then to wide horizontal stripes around the room in "ice plant," "fame orange" and black. It would look really funky, and I like the combo of stripes with polka dots.

It sounds quite modern and a nice contrast but you dont want overkill your room should also be a relaxing place remember but its ok to have your bed the main feature in the room.
I would suggest subtle colour pick ups in the room but keep it subtle, stripes wouldnt be relaxing, how about white with a hint of green and the skirting boards you can do a darker green? You could have fun with the door in your room and paint it the white with a touch of green and then use the more green paint to paint little polka dots (use a stencil)?
What you think?

All white walls or 3 white with one a contrast color at the farthest end or behind bed. (Maybe a yellow or darker green?) If you want to try stripes, paint a big poster board the way you're thinking, maybe yellow/white, or yellow/green, etc. and let it sit in the room for a few days for you to look at when you walk in and see if it will go with your decor. Or do something different painting the ceiling a favorite color and the same on window trim and doors. Again maybe yellow; can't think what really goes with lime green. For more variety, go to the paint store and compare their color strips next to your lime green and see what goes with it. Good luck!

Best of both! How about:
1. Lime green walls with white and black dots
2. White walls with black and lime green dots
3. Black walls with lime green dots and white dots
These ideas could be 3 of your walls. For your 4th wall, make it an accent wall. Painted it bright, but make it match to the rest of the walls in a way. Make circle bulletin boards out of big pieces of cork boards that can be bought in the Home Depot. Paint them individually 3 colours: lime green, white and black!
Hope it helps!

Stripes are not good for a bedroom. I would get paint in a pastel lime green, so its not shocking, but is still in the lime green family. Trim in white. Bring in the shocking lime green, and white with pillows layered on the bed with all differerent patterns.

Why not do the same lime green as your sheets, only in a slightly lighter shade, so it's not too "matchy-matchy". Also you may check out the Pottery Barn Teen website, that may give you some decorating ideas.
