I stumbled upon this website once, while on my lunch break. I find that the recipes on the website are really easy and most of the ingredients are things i already have laying around the kitchen.

Most people like Rachel Ray say that you can do so much in 30 minutes, yet i find that some of the items she cooks are things i have to go out and buy before i can cook. I really love the fact that i DO NOT have to go out after work and beat the rush of people trying to do the same thing lol

It is my new favorite site!

If you have not checked it out yet, go ahead http://www.epicurious.com :) Happy cooking!

I love epicurious too....mostly because they have such a wide variety of recipes - from easy to elegant. I also love that they have a recipe box that you can store your favorites in. I subscribe to Bon Apetit and Gourmet, so I have been an Epicurious fan for a few years now. They just redid their website recently, and it's much nicer looking, plus easier to get around. The site really has a ton of useful info!

I've used Epicurious.com for years. The recipes are wide and varied and you can select the degree of difficulty you think you can tackle.

Don't entirely believe everything you see on The Food Network. These chefs have a big staff that do all of the prep work and, more importantly, do the clean up also. The chef merely tosses this stuff together. Granted, the techniques they apply is the advantage they have and it took them many years to master.

Yes, you're right about some of the ingredients. I live in up-state New York and don't always have access to some of the ingredients they use. I get close though.

I am a pastry chef, and epicurious is the first website I always go to whenever I want something, whether it be a savory recipe or dessert recipe. I have told countless people I know about the website, and we all love it.

ME ME ME! It's been my homepage for years. I went to the Advanced Search page and set it to that. I love being able to enter a main ingredient and then check off boxes on what I want and don't want. It also enabled me to get rid of a huge stack of Bon Appetit and Gourmet from 1993!
