Nope... You will need to visit a dermatologist.

Small and relatively harmless moles can be removed with a liquid gas that freezes them or by smearing on a substance that has a similar effect. For larger moles it may be necessary to have them cut off through surgery.

I get the chills just thinking of these "home remedies". No, I had a mole removed once on my left forearm but the damned thing grew back... just flatter and a little smaller. This happens when a small amount of the melenocyte cells are left behind and gain size through sun exposure. Always go to a dermatologist to get moles removed or else you risk getting infection or aggrevating the lesion and causing it to become either bigger or malignant.

Doesn't sound like a good idea. From what I know it is never safe to remove a mole yourself. There is always a possibility it could be cancerous. If it is raised or flakes, it should definitely be seen by a doctor. A regular doctor or dermatologists can remove it, usually by freezing the skin.

both my mother and a friend have tied a string around them very tight and after a week or so there moles fell off. The string will hurt the mole when it is tight enough.

This is not possible, since the mole may extend down below the surface. It is something only a physician should do.

I have been told by many wise, experienced persons that moles should never be interfered, operated or removed in any other way. Any such attempt lead to many problems.I have posted my views . Rest is for you to decide.

Don't ever try it, it will lead to infection. Few years ago, I went to a dermatologist to remove few from my face by using the laser treatment. But that works only on shallow ones, for bigger moles, they need to dig deeply and that one needs surgery. Please do not do it yourself.
