Do u agree with me that grandmoms would have taught them better values of life with great love....and now they are learning what ever they want because we have left them alone in the race of earning more and more..... which has no end.So teen agers have restless lives( most of them)

Huh?

It would have been better if you'd read over what you wrote, and edited it so it made sense, before you posted it.

You seem to be under the mistaken idea that people have a choice as to whether or not they work.

They don't. The race is that of feeding and housing those kids, not to "earn more and more".

More and more Americans are working more hours for less money, and that money buys less than every before.

Teens have always been teens; whether both parents worked or not; but they wouldn't be better off starving.

My mother was a poor mother, and a lousy grandmother, even though she never worked and the only "machine" in our house was the black and white tv that my dad controlled.

I have no idea what you mean by "restless" lives, but its the parents responsibility to parent, not the grandmother.

If this is a problem for you and your family, you can simplify your life by turning off the machines, get them out of your house and stop running the race. Life is about people, not money and possessions. Have the courage to live, don't go blaming others.
