It depends entirely on the insurance company - anything between 15 and 25 years, depending on who you are insured with.

Usually 20 years or pre 1986, depending on the company.
Are you aware that classic policies stipulate limited mileage & the vehicle must not be your 'primary' means of transport?

I know it's 20 years for cars and 30 years for an antique. It may be 20 for motorcycles. Best bet is to ask your county treasurer's office.
