Where I live, Mexican communities are filled with graffiti, garbage, run down trailer homes, and nice cars in front of their mobile homes. This is in EVERY Mexican neighborhood.

First off Mexico is a beautiful country, but like all countries they have their regions. Like there are poor people here in the US there is also poor people in Mexico.
Why do so many of us Americans go there if it was not scenic, think about that. Second point, 80 % of the mexicans that come across the border come to find a new life for their family. If Mexico was in the same condition economically as the US they would return in a heart beat, and i tell you this because i constantly hear it from them. They are here to work and make money to get their families ahead.....Live the american dream if you will.
I will also take advantage of this forum to ask this question....Why are we looking at the Mexican border and protecting it with military when they should really be doing that to the northern border the one that has no protection at all. If i were a terrorist i would come from there not from a border that i know would be better protected. Come on people stop being ingnorant!

You have a good point although you do generalise. Most Mexicans don't want to emigrate to the US. I, for one, having traveled frequently to your country, among others, think of it as one of the least likable places to live in if I could no longer live in Mexico. But many Mexicans, uneducated mostly, think only of a better income, despite the risks, humiliations etc. that they must take. It is a very complex matter. There are more of us who don't give up in trying to make Mexico a better place and change the circumstances that provoke the emigration.
But I definitely agree with you in that your country, or any other for that matter, shouldn't have to accept uninvited emigrants.
Look what happened to Mexico when gringos emigrated into Tejas.
By the way, America is the continent where Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Argentina and other countries, like yours, are located. When the continent was named, the US had not even been colonised. Brush up on your geography.

Obviously it's not a great country. I am asking the illegal Mexican to get the hell out no matter how inviting our country may seem to them. Fix your own country and stay out of mine. And not just the illegal Mexicans, all illegal aliens. You don't have a God given right to come to America! You were not invited.

You know,it is their governments fault that things are the way they are. It could of happened to any country including ours stop being so ignorant. Have you been to Mexico? Mexico is a great country. It is very beautiful. It has a lot to offer. Their government is greedy and corrupt and that is why the ppl do not make the money that we make here in the united states. You can not blame the citizens. Their voting system is even screwed up. Oh,but so is ours!!! Think about things before you go around making accusations about things you know nothing about.

Well you have obviously only been to the tourist part of Mexico. It suffers immense poverty and the reason they run away to America is because they can get a better life even if they are living in a shabby apartment. Many Mexicans have attempted to become legal but it takes to Long (about ten years) and they usually do not get accepted.

Why dose everybody keep saying Mexico is a very poor country it is the seventh richest in the world, their just to stupid to use their natural resources. Look at Japan they have no natural resources and look what they have accomplished, they came back from the ashes. Mexico is corrupt and their leaders are to ignorant and corrupt to use their resources.

I had a manager who had a green card for over 20 years. I asked her why she didn't ever apply for citizenship and she told me that she loves Mexico too much and doesn't care to be a U.S. citizen. If Mexico is so much better, she would be there and not here. She is just taking advantage of our opportunities instead of trying to fix the problems in her homeland. Um, Tim? There are 300,000,000 people compared to Mexico's 108,000,000.

I'm a sports fan. I love all my local teams. If I ever move, even to Boston, where all there teams are better, I will still praise my teams from back home, even though they suck. It's human nature.
Your second question, "I want credit for making this country so inviting." -I'd like to speak on their behalf. Thanks for being born where there is the most natural resources on the planet, and only 300 million people. Way to go. Your parents really knew where to get it on!
Ya, your right about the populations. I knew the US pop is 300 mil. I just messed up when typing. I didn't mess up about the natural resources though. America has more natural resources then anywhere else on the planet. #00 mil is not many. India's pop is 1.1 bil. China is 1.3 bil. They don't have more resources then us combined. Kinda hard to mess up when we have all this wealth.
