Start out the day with at least a verse from the Bible and a Prayer. Also come to terms with yourself that you will know matter what the consequences serve Christ and live as he lived. Ask yourselve would Jesus be doing what I am doing. Praise the Lord for everything and keep up the good work, May the Lord Bless YOU. I love your question so much, it seriously convicts me to do better, may Jesus wrap his arms around you and give you peace.

Read the Bible and pray. Yes I know that sounds simple but that is an important start. Show kindness and generosity towards others. Understand and apply the fruits of the spirit described in Galatians 5:22-24. Like Paul says in Galatians 5:25.."if we live in the Spirit, let us walk in the spirit". Let the Spirit of Christ be your guide in all things and you will do well.

My best answer is to love God with everything that you have. Also, humble yourself and understand that there is nothing in this world that you can do without God, and without Him, you would be nothing.
Also, praise Him often, even for little things that go great in your life, or in the life of others, and ask His help when things become to much for you to bear.
And, forgive those that have wronged you, let things go. Pray for your enemies and love them with all of your heart.
This is no easy task for any man, but as Christians, we must try to imitate the life of Christ as much as possible, and strive to be more than just men.
Good Luck!

Pray every day, through out the day. Read the Bible over and over and do your best to follow it; not what another person says. I found a place in the old testament that said 'not to read fiction' earlier this year. (I wish I could remember where)
Believe as the Bible says. God created ALL, including Jesus. Jesus was the only angel that had not sinned; that is why he got to come here to help us. Jesus is the son of God. Love your enemies, all people.

Consider this thought:
Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Treat all living things with love and respect, and worship not Christ, but the Father that was in him. That is what he told his disciples, and what I believe he intended for all of us. If he had not, he would not have said "If ye believe as I believe, works as these, and greater works shall ye do"....

Those who told you to love God with all your heart were right, dear one. You also need to get into fellowship with other Christians. God's Word tells us to do that because fellowship with other Christians makes us stronger.
God bless!
