Does it bug you that spanish is now placed on all packaging.. even though the U.S.A is an English speaking country.? It's not done with every other language so why should it be done with spanish?
Spanish only speaking people are no more special than you or me or the little chinaman down the road who doesn't speak one word of English!!

The U.S.A is an English speaking country. Why should we cater to those that don't speak english??
I don't expect to find my language somewhere else so why should we cater to a bunch of lawbreakers.
It would be fine if we catered to EVERYONE, BUT we don't!!!

Why Spanish instead of other languages? Because there are a lot more Spanish-speakers than "little chinamen."

The number of English speakers in this country who can fluently read/speak no other languages is over 200,000,000.
The number of Spanish speakers in this country who can fluently read/speak no other languages is about 15,000,000.

After that, the numbers drop WAY down. I mean, out of the millions and into the thousands.

It's simply good business to label your products in two languages when you have a market that is made up of people that speak two languages.

It's called good business. There is a sufficiently large community that is functionally literate in Spanish but with limited literacy in English. Would a good business person want to exclude those consumers? No. A good business person will try to get as many consumers as possible. If we were living in Quebec the packages would be in english and french. Why? Because there is a large population of people there that are completely literate in french but only have limited literacy in english. Get over yourself. In Europe most packaging has at least three languages, do they complain? No, well, okay, maybe the french do, but they are have this ministry of culture that tries to keep french culture "pure." Xenophobia, racism, nationalism, whatever. When ebonics becomes the second largest consumer language you will likely see packages with english and ebonics, it's all a matter of making money. You don't think, your brain is useless, even a zombie would turn it down.

It's also obvious that you are a racist. You try to hide your bias against the spanish speaking people by ranting about being offended by seeing another language on your consumer goods. That does not necessarily mean you are a racist, you could just be narrow-minded. However, your use of the term "little chinaman" is offensive and clearly indicates your racism. Idiot.

EDIT
Again, evidence of your stupidity. You assume that everyone that cannot read english is a lawbreaker. You assume that spanish on your packaging is "catering to a bunch of lawbreakers." Well, what about all the people that are legal immigrants that read Spanish much better than english. They too are catered to by the inclusion of Spanish on packaging. However, in your vast ignorance, you have lumped them together with the "lawbreakers" you hate so much. Perhaps that was intentional.

It turns out like they have got been reducing increasingly principal English channels from the Mas programs - I feel their Optimo Mas kit now not even has ESPN. Clearly it is to save cash. If you wish the MLB community and the spanish programming, you'll decide upon an English kit with the MLB community and upload at the En Espanol kit, which has the entire Spanish language channels for 19.ninety nine

Not as much as the products I get from EUrope. At work I use to get tons of stuff from EUrope and they have instructions written in at least 5 different languages. I end up with 10 books which together is larger than the product itself. I had to go through all that paperwork to find the instruction I need and always end up using the french instruction. Try buying a shelf from Ikea. I think their instructions are like that too. I just wondering about the environmental impact of wasting all that paper.

People don't think about how immigrants from non-Spanish speaking countries have to learn English to get by, so why not those who speak Spanish. Asians are the second largest immigrant group and I don't see anyone putting out job ads for customer service representatives who speak Mandarin. We should either print things in all major languages or just English if we want to be fair.

No, and I just bought a jacket that also had a tag in German, Chinese, Italian and French but not in Spanish. I simply read the English one! I could read the others for fun and to see how much I still remember of my French, German and Spanish.

Not only English speakers shop in the USA. This country receives a lot of imports and a LOT of tourists.

Did you know that China speaks primarily Chinese? It's true. If you ever go there you will be able to find your way around even if you don't speak chinese. Because they post everything in multiple langauges. They don't have to. They just think that it's anice thing to do, and it makes peoples lives easier.

Sorry spanish bothers you so much. It really sucks that you have to see it on products sometimes. I feel for you.
