i have 2 sisters and 2 brothers and they are achievers...i'm the youngest and my parents and relatives are expecting a lot from me to the point that i really don't know what i want in my life. I think sometimes i let them decide or manipulate me. I'm just a very simple and average gal..& i don't have the guts to hurt them

we have our own choices in life, parents and relatives are just there to guide us not manipulate your every move or what you want in your life...
sometimes we make the wrong decision because someone recommend or suggest that this is much better for you,,,
take time to think through...
remember times precious and you don't want every minute goes into waste ei????
just explain to them what you want to be,
you have a different personality,,
tell them too that you are no comparrison to your other siblings,,
but assure them that you'll finish your study to the best that you can,,
and you will never ever let down there hopes..

That can be a tough situation! There is nothing wrong with NOT being an overacheiver. You have to be yourself. Just tell them ALL that you're doing your best and maybe your best isn't straight A's or being perfect! That your best is good enough for you and it should be good enough for them.
Don't fall into the trap of feeling you can never live up to everyone's expectations. What do you expect from yourself? If you expect your best--and do your best--that is all anyone can do. Don't add pressure to yourself on top of the pressure that is being put on you.

A long as you make a happy life for yourself , your family should be proud. Everyone has a different idea as to what SUCCESS means. To some it means money, to others its love, some a career. As long as you find something that makes you happy, Then you are a success. You do not have to be an over achiever. Good Luck!!!

Your life, and future belong to you alone.
If you want to do your best, then do it for you, not everyone else around you. Take a look at others -- they are not doing things because other people want them to, but what they feel is best for themselves.
