She dragged me to this really expensive place. When the bill came, she looked at me and said that where she comes from, its expected the man pays. I busted out my wallet, paid, then looked her in the eye and said that where I come from, when a man pays, its expected he will get laid.
Guess what? I DIDN'T. I mean, what the ???? Doesn't it work this way?
What did I do wrong?

Well buying an expensive meal is an automatic *meal* ticket for wiener in mouth if you ask me.

Basically, I agree with you. Lunch somehow is more informal and less stressful. After having lunch, if everything is fine, you could arrange a date for dinner. Of course, it all depends on your schedules too. I prefer to start out with coffee, then lunch and movies, and dinner is like towards the end.

That was very rude of her, and she's not worth it anyway. I always offer to pay, especially if I'm the one doing the asking out.
It just sounds like she wanted a free meal.

you should have come back with the getting laid line immediately after she said that, *before* you paid, then maybe she would have gone dutch & at least you wouldn't be out the cash.

you guys need to cut out the middle man. she should upright ask for money instead of dinner and you upright ask for sex instead of a "getting to know her" date
