are saying out loud ..."wow", "i can't believe you would ask me that?"..(so you do not answer).....this i could NOT believe, but that person ASKED AGAIN???...I just said ..."that is personal"....DO YOU know anyone like this?...and what do you say when they ask you inappropriate questions especially at work????...believe me, I was shocked!!! To her it was a regular question!!! ???? get that!!!

just say the reason its a personal question is cos it has nothin to do with you so therefore i shall not be answerin questions that are personal to anyone, it may not bother u tellin people ur personal life but im not you and it bothers me

Simply tell them that you don't discuss personal matters at work. And don't be shocked. Some people haven't been taught to respect other people's privacy.

just ask them "why do you ask?", and if they continue to pressure you, then tell them that you don't feel comfortable talking about personal issues at work

i hate them but yeah they exist, and they keep asking i tell them to f$%k off. if saying f$%k off is inappropreiate, so is thier question.

well if it happ to me i'll ask them why at 1st?? then if they sometihng up such as ........." i dunno" then tell them to bugger off or something i really don't no it pends on the question really i hoped i helped if not sorry"!!!
