i just bought a Jane's Addiction CD and it wont run on my computer. all my other CD's work fine except this one. what do i do now???

Could be scratched or a protected cd, i use slysoft anydvd software running in the background to bypass all types of copyright including dvd's.

i had same problem one of my dvd wont run on my dvd rom on my computer some cd have some sort of compatability issue.

risk-free mode could constantly be slower. the reason being once you boot into risk-free mode purely necessary drivers are loaded. and that they are well-known drivers at that. with out the drivers that optimize velocity for laptop aspects it is going to run sluggish.

Take it back for a replacement because it sounds like it is faulty.

you should clean your CD-ROM (could be dust)
do it quickly otherwise it could be damage 100%
