Adding small candies or spinkles on top of the icing can be just enough to keep the saran wrap from actually touching the frosting. Try decorating them with candy corns, etc for Halloween, jelly beans for Easter, etc. They are cute, which draws in kids, plus practical because it keeps the saran wrap from sticking!

Get a high enough bow so the saran wrap , wraps the box or pit toothpicks in the cupcakes that the wrap will sit on.

I put them in a deep pan if you have one, or a Cardboard box, like the ones you wrap shirts in. Other option is to let the frosting harden and then use or stick a few toothpicks in them and net the wrap over the tray. Make sure you don't wrap it to tight or the toothpicks will break thru the plastic wrap

Buy some baggie, plain ones without the zipper thing, put the cupcake in and tie it on the top over the top on the frosting. It helps the frosting from getting smashed. Takes a little extra time but it does work.

Cut the sides off a box about the right size as a tray would be, leaving it high enough to clear the top of the cupcakes. Place them in the box, on napkins and fit clear plastic wrap over top, tapeing if necessary.

I am having a bday party for my daughter and want to send cupcakes home with the kids. I am going to use celophane instead of plastic wrap. I am going to cut up cardboard into squares about 4x4 sit the cupcake on it and wrape the celophane up from the bottom and tie at the top. I am hoping this will work. If it does they will be super cute, if not, it will surely work better than the plastic wrap, we know that will screw them up!

i would put them in the rerigerator and let the icing harden slightly, then wrap them- but keep them cool so the melting icing does not stick.
Someone else may have a better way but I cannot say that I have seen cupcakes wrapped in anything but saran wrap or sandwich bags.

An empty box the was a case of soda like the flat one with the edges. And then put foil over the top. If you dont have one of those then try to make one of cardboard.
