I dreamt last night that the guy I'm seeing (we've only been out on a handful of dates) was marrying me, and we were fighting about inviting his parents to the wedding. (Him and his parents don't get on- I think that's where it may have stemmed from?) I was asking him not to invite them, as they would try and fight with him and my parents, and he was saying he felt like it was an obligation and that he had to.
Can anyone tell me if this has any sort of meaning?

Maybe you're asessing the potential that you could wind up a member of the family, before you get too involved with him. The inlaws can really have an impact on a couple, and if you're not paying attention to that, you should pay attention to things like that before you get too deeply involved with him........
