"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."

No. Bible was not written by Jesus himself. New Testament was written several years after Jesus. And the authors of all Gospels are disputed. Matthew, Mark, and Luke are often called the "synoptic" gospels. "Synoptic" is a Greek word meaning "having a common view." 1 John differs significantly from the synoptic gospels in theme, content, time duration, order of events, and style. "Only ca. 8% of it is parallel to these other gospels, and even then, no such word-for-word parallelism occurs as we find among the synoptic gospels." 2 John reflects a Christian tradition that is different from that of the other gospels.
Bible was written at different time and most of the early scriptures were destroyed. It was changed time to time according to the views and political compulsion prevailing at that time. The original manuscripts are lost and gone forever. We cannot know exactly what the words were." "Only the original manuscripts in original languages contain the words of God. No translation or copy can carry over God's words perfectly. The process of changes in Bible is still going on which gives a lot of confusion and interpretation in its meaning e.g.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness KJV:2 Timothy 3:16
EVERY INSPIRED SCRIPTURE HAS ITS USE FOR TEACHING THE TRUTH AND REFUTING ERROR OR FOR REFORMATION OF MANNERS AND DISCIPLINE IN RIGHT LIVING." (2 Timothy 3:16)NEB
Different versions different meanings.
Don't try a BIBLE DRILL in your Sunday school class using the NIV with these verses, because the following 17 verses have been removed completely from the New Testament in the NIV.....
Matthew 17:21; 18:11; 23:14; Mark 7:16; 9:44: 9:46; 11:26; 15:28; Luke 17:36; 23:17; John 5:4; Acts 8:37; 15:34; 24:7; 28:28, Romans 16:24; and 1 John 5:7!
No need looking for them....they're not there! One is reminded of Luke 8:12 (KJV)
"...then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word.."
Did you know that the NIV removes 64,576 words (nearly 8% of God's Word) and that the NKJV removes 2,289 words from the New Testament alone?
Preface of one of the version of KJV says ….
In the course of time, the King James Version came to be regarded as “the Authorized Version.” With good reason it has been termed “the noblest monument of English prose,” and it has entered, as no other book has, into the making of the personnel character and the public institutions of the English speaking peoples. We owe to it an incalculable debt. Yet the King James Version has serious defects. By the middle of the nineteenth century, the development of biblical studies and the discovery of many biblical manuscripts more ancient than those on which the King James Version was based made it apparent that these defects were so many as to call for revision. The task was begun, by authority of the Church of England, in 1870...
So “serious defects” in ISPIRED WORD OF GOD ?!
Any person how qualified or pious he my be he can’t write the Word of God.
In New Testament out of 27 books 14 books were written by St. Paul only . So it represents more to St. Paul’s ideology than Jesus himself.
Finally, Catholic Church no longer swears by truth of the Bible (The Times. October 05, 2005)
THE hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church has published a teaching document instructing the faithful that some parts of the Bible are not actually true. The Catholic bishops of England, Wales and Scotland are warning their five million worshippers, as well as any others drawn to the study of scripture, that they should not expect “total accuracy” from the Bible.

A significant part of the NT WAS written by men who spent time with Him 24/7 for some 3 years and accurately recorded what He said, taught, and did. That's a pretty good source of knowing who & what Jesus was all about for me.

Whatever you do, Lars, do NOT represent yourself in court!
We call the gospels a "testament". This is a legal term. It is a writ of testimony given as a witness for a coming trial. In the legal circles, you give a witness and a person writes down the testimony as heard for use in a coming trial. We are given the evidence before hand, and make our judgments accordingly. How we respond to the testimony will govern the results of our coming trial before the court of judgment.
In the Jewish law, there needed to be the voice of two testators to be established as fact (ref. Deut 19:15 & John 8:17). The gospels double that with four.
John 21:24
This is the disciple who testifies of these things, and wrote these things; and we know that his testimony is true.

It's not a joke. It is the truth. Sometimes it's hard believing in the truth when doubting is so much easier.
