I also have three cats - inside only for them.
I live in a suburban area and don't want to risk having them hit by a car.
My oldest cat was an outside cat before I got him (he was 6 or so) and now when he happens to escape, he doesn't even know what to do - he just sits in the grass and looks overwhelmed. But it doesn't stop him from trying to get out!

the love of my life is an inside cat only...
when my mom takes my dogs outside to go to the bathroom, my cat will stand by the open door just to look outside, but if she see's me coming, she runs away from the door inside... I think she is scared to be outside...
but she loves staring out the windows... ya i would be way too scared of anything happening to her if I let her out. I was thinking of training her to walk on a leash, but I havent really gotten around to it yet... soon though!

Two cats, indoor only. One is deathly afraid of the outside (and declawed), and the other is a new rescue cat that I don't entirely trust out of the house. I would just rather keep them safe indoors where I can control their environment.

My cat lives inside, but i let her go outside for a little bit when it's nice out. I continuously watch her though to make sure she doesnt get somewhere she doesnt need to be.
