baked goods like breads, pies...read the labels...is SO bad for you. They increase shelf life and they are artificial therefore not very good for you.

I think it's time people realized this. No wonder I have started reading labels and started shopping at Whole foods and Trader Joe's for the past 6 years and feeding my family with healthy foods without all the fat and preservatives that you don't need.

Please..we need to stop buying these processed foods and put these companies out of business. Consumers need healthy foods. what do you think? are large companies driving the consumers to get diseases like Cancer, diabetes and heart diseases and not telling or educating our consumers about the bad things that are in the foods?

Please think about this before you answer this question..this is important.

This is an astute observation and question, the way i see it is that they are in business for profit , not to provide you with life sustenance per se. There are however some excellent provisioners out there . Read the labels . Good home cooking is the way to go in my humble opinion. What is Latin for (Buyer beware)? And is ignorance true bliss? Keep up the good work .
