If the rapture DOES occur, then how would the world react? At the turn of the century, all of the ministers and evangelistics were preaching all over the place that the Rapture would occur, and the rest of the world would blame the disappearance of many people on UFO's.

But by now, just about every non-Christian knows about the Christian belief of Rapture, and we laugh at those Christians. So you guys strongly believe in the Rapture, correct? Now, wouldn't the world realize you guys were correct if the Rapture DOES occur? I mean they would be like, "OMG THEY WERE RIGHT! THIS IS WHAT THEY SAID WOULD HAPPEN."

I'm sure there will be somewhat of a shock over it when people realize what has happened. But in due time, they'll forget about it, for shortly thereafter, the Antichrist will appear on the scene and for the first three and one half years of his reign, he'll be backpedaling, offering all sorts of explanations to the people concerning what happened to the Christians. People will accept this answer and then begin turning to the Antichrist for more and more answers to global problems which snowballs from there.......

Noah built an ark for over 100 yrs and the people laughed until it rained! The Sodom and Gomorrah peeps were warned and they continued to do wrong.... ergo pre nuclear era A-bomb...! The Egyptians had plague after plague and still they rebelled.... need I go on. The fact that everyone in the world will soon know adds to the magnitude of the event. If no one understands then it is a weird anomaly but if everyone know......!!!!!!!!

Kind of like when Noah continued to warn people there would be a flood and they laughed at him. While they were looking for higher ground or gasping for air, they probably thought to themselves, "OMG! HE WAS RIGHT!"

There is no such thing as "the rapture" in the bible. It was created by a lunatic woman.
And if it happens i can bet that the majority of christians would be "Left below".

I think WHEN it does happen.....all non-believers will chalk it up to something stupid or scientific.

As usual, they will try to rationally explain a mystery......which is why they deny God in the first place.

The Bible says that people are deliberately ignorant, and it seems that rather than saying "Oh no! I was wrong!" they would say "Good riddance!" (SOME would say "I was wrong", because the Bible says that there will be some who actually turn to God for salvation during the tribulation period.)

If you're "left behind" it's game, set, and match. You will face unspeakable horrors.
