I m holdinga cultural event at my University and part of my project is to introduce Brazil, so i was going to put on a capoeira show but I definately need some music. Im looking for more traditional songs that make use of the berimbau, and maybe some chanting. But either way all suggestions will be looked upon and greatly appreciated :) Thanks a bunch guys.

normally during a roda the music is played live.
Looking for capoeira cd's outside of brazil is real difficult since the community is pretty small. However maybe a good idea to look for some of the more classic songs to help you out:

parana e parana
la vai viola
donna maria como vai voce
abalou capoeira
e da nossa cor
...

a capoeira group has its own music, they use their own instruments and they play it to each others during a show
