God choose not to show himself, or rather he reveal himself through his powers, keeping the world moving. I feel that if God is not present, the world would have torn itself apart through conflicts. In the old testement, God reveal himself through miracles mostly, follow by speaking directly to the people. It just that if someone hear God, you would only say like right. God is so full of glory that if a normal human being see him in person, he would either be blind or die. Only priveledge few see him.

Imagine if you will that you are standing at the edge of a large cliff. There is this concept that has been kicked around for thousands of years, called Gravity, which people tell you will condemn you to a lifetime of suffering if you step off that cliff. You can choose to believe that this Gravity thing isn't real and step off the edge. But at many points in your life before you step off that cliff, you get some clues. You see things fall. You drop stuff, and it heads downward. You see that anything that wants to go up, such as a bird or a rocket, has to expend a great deal of energy to overcome that tendency to fall. So now you make a choice and decide that the anecdotal evidence isn't enough to convince you. Once you step off that cliff, you have no more choice. You will believe, no matter what your opinion was before that last step.

When God shows himself, there will be no more choice. And that is exactly what God is avoiding by keeping Himself veiled. God apparently respects free will to the point that He will allow you to choose eternal separation from Him rather than do something that would force you to believe.

And we, being who we are, will often choose the thing that we don't really want rather than freely accept what He offers for no better reason than that we are stubborn.

God obviously says he's not hiding. Rom a million;20 20 For because the advent of the international His invisible attributes are patently considered, being understood by technique of the failings that are made, even His eternal skill and Godhead, in basic terms so that they are with out excuse.. Hebrews 11:3 by technique of religion we understand that the worlds were framed by technique of the know God, so as that the failings that are considered were no longer made from issues that are seen. the reals undertaking is God is spirit (Jn 4:24) and also you're actual and use your 5 senses. The 5 senses won't be able to comprehend God because spirit is previous the 5 senses. Your senses are strong for the actual realm yet thy have restricted ability and of little need contained in the non secular realm. evaluate this. 2 Corin. 2:14 although the organic guy does no longer receive the failings of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he comprehend them, because they are spiritually discerned. The "organic guy" is the guy of the 5 senses, you would say the medical guy. The problems with God are stupid to the organic guy because his senses won't be able to exhibit God to him of the non secular realm (or kingdom). once you comprehend how short you fall and God has offered something more suitable for you and also you humble your self and then confess Rom. 10:9, 10 out of your heart. you'll receive God's present of holy spirit and then you may start up being waiting to verify spiritually what you won't be able to see consisting of your eyes. 2Corinthians 4:18 at the same time as we do not look on the failings that are considered, yet on the failings which aren't any more considered. For the failings that are considered are non everlasting, although the failings which aren't any more considered are eternal. evaluate this stuff deeply and ask God to bare Himself to you as you settle for HIs son as your savior - your eyes will be opened in a way no guy can open them. all Gods perfect

God is not a gigantic guy hiding above the clouds, nor do I think "He" is ultimately interested in what intellectual precepts you hold - or interested in anything at all since that is an investing metaphor that applies to a human. God is what is, the concept of what you would expect to see before you believe is created by the acceptance of the mythological framework Christianity has set up for you. Rather, God is in the mundane as well, and the experience of love as more than biochemical commands is evidence enough that there is more than can be seen under a microscope or in an MRI, isn't it?

We know from the teachings of Muhammad, peace be upon him, that no one has ever actually seen God - at least not in this lifetime. Nor are we able to use our senses to make some kind of contact with Him. However, we are encouraged in Islam to use our senses and our common sense to recognize that all of this universe could not possibly come into existence on its own. Something had to design it all and then put it into motion. That is beyond our ability to do, yet it is something that we can understand.
We don't have to see an artist to recognize a painting, correct? So, if we see paintings without seeing artists painting them, in the same way, we can believe that Allah created everything without having to see Him (or touch, or hear, etc.).

You can be the best believer of God and you and no one will see Him. He is in spirit only. No one has ever seen God. God has been heard. God has had others speak for him. And God sent Jesus his son here; because Jesus was the only angel that had not sinned against God at all.
A lot of people want to sin against the Second Commandment and imagine what God may look like. Even though the Second Commandment requires us not to imagine him looking like anything anywhere. And those ones are claiming Jesus is God; but that is false. There are over 500 places in the New Testament alone that state God is God, and Jesus is Jesus the son of God.

Because the sight of God would kill us instantly.

Trinitarian Christians believe God DID show Himself once before, in human form. Look how that turned out.

Right off hand, because they would all die is high on the list. Exodus 33:20 has God telling Moses this. John 1:18 confirms this. This would cut down on the doubters, just not in the way they could then change.

God did show Himself when He came to the earth as the man Jesus and died for our sins. You can read about this event in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. What more can He do to show us that He loves us?

P.S. Jesus defeated Satan while on the cross. Read the book of Revelation too. Jesus is now alive and is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is coming back soon.

I'm not a religious person at all but I believe God shows himself whenever good things happen. For example, when a mother gives birth to a healthy baby, when a deserving family wins the lottery, when cures for diseases are found, when a life is saved, etc.
