I do believe in evolution. I have no problem with science. Science just proves how wonderful God really is. The more you look at the Universe the more appreciation you can have for the mind of God.

I do believe in some evolution bcause this is the method that creatures adapt to their environment. I also believe that the stronger creatures will prevail over weaker ones and therefore, the genetic material that they carry will be passed on, thus changing the species.

ANd--we have scientific proof of creatures that existed and do not now exist.

God had a method for creation that is too complex and mindblowing to take in. I think that the whole creation story in the Bible is figurative so that people can wrap their little minds around it--the prophets that wrote the Bible knew this, too

I just think that I have a better chance at winning the lottery than of complex life forms being formed by mere fluke and chance. I feel confused by evolutionists who claim that evolution is more logical and rational than creation. When you really really scrutinize, evolution is not at all logical or rational. It's just another form of religion.

Hey Darwinman, Not sure if you have noticed that humankind is in the process of regression not progression. Still living in evolutionary pipe dream land?

Someone told me they read a book that stated there is no such thing as evolution- because the other types of "humans" that evolution referrs to- were killed off by humans- so that they would be the supreme beings on earth.

Hmmmmmmmm.

any reasonable person must agree with the evidence for evolution. that said, i think the religious are disconsolate on the subject because it PROVES beyond a shadow of a doubt, that their notion of god is false. and the final dagger in that notion is that MAN CONTINUES TO EVOLVE...we are, in other words, a transitional species...humans of the future will be nothing like we are now...THAT is the beauty of evolution and natural selection and will eventually sound the death knell for religion.

Evolution is a proven fact. To not believe in it simply shows a lack of education -- or common sense.

LOL... fast 'n... has the only answer I've ever seen that makes me consider that evolution is not true... but then again, an omnipotent God would probably have done better than GWB, too. The man is just an aberration no matter how you look at it!

I believe in natural selection. I do not believe that mammals can become reptiles or vice versa, no matter HOW many changes they undergo.

There's plenty of evidence to support natural selection.

I, as a Catholic (obviously I am a Christian), am open to the possibility of evolution concerning humans.
